Why not wash my car at home?

You’re busy. We’re fast. We get cars cleaner. Our high-pressure hoses remove soap better a garden hose. Our machines don’t scratch because our specialized equipment doesn’t harbor grit and scratch you car’s finish the way sponges, brushes and rags do. Washing a car at home can use more than 148 gallons of water for one washing. Driveway washes send chemicals from soaps and toxins from your car (lead, phosphates, oil, asphalt, antifreeze) into the water system. We treat and recycle our water, reclaiming up to 85% of the water we use.

Are convertibles safe in the Car Wash?

Yes, as long as you latch your roof securely.

Do I need to remove my antenna?

The antenna retracts in most cars when the radio is turned off. If your antenna does not retract, we suggest you unscrew it. We can help you do that – and reattach your antenna after your wash.

Are ski racks and roof racks safe in the Car Wash?

Most racks are safe in a tunnel Car Wash. We will inspect your rack and make sure it’s securely attached and has no attachment that protrudes. If your rack needs to be removed, we will help you remove it and reinstall your rack after your wash.

How often should I wash my car?

If your car is dirty, wash it! Washing is the single most important factor is maintaining the appearance and resale value of your car. Insect residue, bird droppings, salt, and other unwelcome additions to your car’s surface damage to your car’s paint. Pollutants in dirt get into paint and that damages the appearance (and value) of your car. Dirt traps moisture against paint, which encourages rust. In the Philadelphia area, most cars need a wash about every two weeks.

Why should I detail my car?

Detailing is extensive cleaning and reconditioning of your car, which can actually add value to your car. Detailing protects your car from everyday use and the elements, including UV rays.

What kind of soaps do you use?

All Seasons uses Blue Coral Beyond Green soaps created by Ecolab. Our biodegradable soaps and oil free polishes make your car sparkle, yet are not harmful to the environment.

Is All Seasons Car Wash & Lube green?

  • We recycle water. All Seasons has a state of the art water reclamation system which collects up to 85% of our used water, treats it for pollutants so we can reuse our water.
  • Our Car Wash conserves water. We use about 50% less fresh water per vehicle than a traditional 10-minute Car Wash at home.
  • Our soaps are biodegradable.
  • Our polishes and sealers are oil-free.
  • Our green roof reduces storm water runoff up to 90% and improves our building’s thermal resistance, which saves energy throughout the year. The green roof also creates a natural habitat for animals and plants.
  • The entire site is made of porous materials, allowing rain and snowmelt to pass through and filter pollutants, which further reduces the environmental impact of storm water runoff.
  • Our oil clean burn heating system conserves energy by recycling all waste lubricants and reusing them to heat the facility.
  • Our entire site appropriately recycles.

How does the car wash know which wash or lube I purchased?

Your car gets a unique 4-number code when you arrive that is posted on your car and entered in our computer system along with your wash service selections. Our employees refer to small hand held computers to make sure we deliver exactly what you expect.

What is a car lube?

Lube services provided at All Seasons include oil change as well as service for transmissions, radiators, power steering, CVTs, transfer cases, differentials, gearboxes, and fuel systems. We change filters, install light bulbs, replace wiper blades, and rotate tires.

How often does my car need an oil change?

If you make frequent short trips [less than 10 miles], do lots of stop-and-go driving, drive on dusty or gravel roads, or drive at sustained highway speeds during hot weather, most car manufacturers recommend an oil change every 3,000 miles or six months. Otherwise, car manufacturers typically recommend changing oil six months to a year or every 7,500 miles.

How do I decide whether to use conventional, semi-synthetic or synthetic oil?

Consult your owner’s manual – or just ask the service experts in our Mobil 1 Express to help you. We match the specification in your owner’s manual to what’s listed on the container of the motor oil. Don’t I need to go to my dealer to maintain my warranty?

No. While some automakers use strong language about maintenance, the term “Requirement” generally refers to regular maintenance as designated by the owner’s manual. Who does the service is not the determining factor. When our Mobil 1 Express performs automotive maintenance, we follow the exact stipulations of your car manufacturer and document our service for you. Manufacturers warranties do vary, so please consult your manufacturer to confirm.
